Why is the ‘Rupert Murdoch’ Times, London the only ‘heavy’ newspaper telling the truth about the CROSSRAIL? How is it possible that in the Times today, there is evidence of acknowledgement of the truth behind Gordon Brown’s endorsement of Ken Livingstone’s Crossrail propaganda and agenda, to enrich and reward the rich and to deprive the poor? Why are the other British [‘mainstream’] media [including the ‘communist’ !!!! ‘Morning Scar’] and typified by the [once’! socially-caring and almost truth-oriented !!] Guardian LYING for the CRASSRAIL scam?

Why is the London Times telling the truth about Crossrail hole scam when the rest of the mainstream London-centric media [with few exceptions] are slavishly lying for CRASSrail along with Ken Livingstone?

The Muhammad Haque daily world political commentary

The Times, London, is proving the usefulness of the saying’ better late than never’. For the past at least three months, the newspaper, owned by Rupert Murdoch who is not at all someone that is linked with telling the truth in the general view of the British media establishment, has been publishing in print and on its associated web site some very significant information about Crossrail. As it has done in today’s print editions [Saturday 6 October 2007]. I should know. Because I have been publishing some of my own analyses against Crossrail in response to some of the pieces about CRASSrail that the Times has been publishing. Apart from the Times, I have also found evidence of at least wanting to tell the accurate facts evident on the part of the Daily Telegraph – on their webs site. As I have done on the SPECATATPOR. I have selected the latest piece for inclusions here from today’s Times web site. The print editions of the Times dated today [Saturday 6 October 2007] carries the piece by Ross Clark minus my comments. The web editions have by comment. Ross Clark has written a factual piece but its angle is very interesting. It says that Crossrail is a line for the rich, not for the poor. Along that same line, the piece says that Gordon Brown is backing the rich generally. It also points out that the preoccupation with Crossrail and London has robbed other English regions of vital central Govt funding… All in all, these are some of the flaws that I have been pointing out in the present Crossrail scam….. My latest comment published on the Times newspaper’s web site today has an error. The word ‘proportion’ should be read as ‘promotion’

AADHIKARonline quoting the Times piece [London Saturday 6 October 2007, print and web site editions]  sub-headed ‘Crossrail is another project for the rich, not the poor’

The Times  October 6, 2007

Just the thing for croissant-chompers

Crossrail is another project for the rich, not the poor

Ross Clark

A man who, beyond the age of 26, finds himself on a bus,” Margaret Thatcher is reputed to have said, “can count himself as a failure.” If he finds himself on a new train service, on the other hand, he can feel smug. Trains, it now seems to be government policy, are mainly for rich people.

Yesterday the Government announced the go-ahead for Crossrail, the £16 billion scheme to drive twin rail tunnels west to east across Central London, linking Maidenhead, Heathrow, Liverpool Street and Brentwood. One can almost hear the relief of City workers who will no longer have to struggle overland to catch their Friday night flights to holiday homes on the Mediterranean. Pleased, too, will be estate agents in Taplow and Burnham, which will gain a direct service to the heart of the City.

Taxpayers will be less pleased. True, the Treasury winkled a promise of £350 million from a grudging Corporation of London, while Canary Wharf and BAA are believed to have promised another £650 million between them. But there are no prizes for guessing who is going to stump up the other £15 million – or quite possibly double that considering the record of poor cost control in public projects.

The Government’s decision to go ahead with what will be Europe’s most expensive rail project wouldn’t raise quite so many eyebrows were it matched by a commitment to public transport investment in towns and cities less wealthy than London. Yet the backing for Crossrail comes at a time when the Government has turned its back on light rail schemes outside the capital.

Labour’s manifesto in 2001 promised a revolution in urban transport. There were to be 25 new metro systems by 2010, cutting millions of car journeys and promising regeneration for rundown and badly connected suburbs of our provincial cities.

Liverpool, thinking that £170 million of government money was on its way, spent £35 million planning its proposed supertram, buying up several miles of track in the process. In Manchester, buildings were demolished to make way for an extension to the tram system. Leeds was promised a new system, as was the conurbation of Portsmouth, Gosport and Fareham.

In the event, three of the tramlines promised by Labour in 2001 were built – in Croydon, Nottingham and the West Midlands. Then, in 2005, the Government pulled the plug, complaining that trams were too expensive. In doing so it cited a 2004 report by the National Audit Office that found that schemes in Sheffield, Birmingham and Croydon had not proved good value for money.

In that these three schemes made losses in their first years of operation, this is true, but then hopes for their profitability were absurdly high. They were deliberately built through rundown areas, some of them lightly populated wastelands, in the hope of sparking regeneration. The lesson of the NAO report into urban light rail schemes was not that they shouldn’t be built at all but that they needed to be linked with park-and-ride schemes and that if you use them to regenerate depressed areas you have to be prepared to subsidise them for some years until passenger numbers increase.

Metro systems can hardly have proved worse value for money than the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. That project has swallowed £2 billion worth of direct government grants, relied on a £3.75 billion bond issue underwritten by the taxpayer and, according to the NAO, is likely to cost taxpayers a further £260 million because Eurostar passenger numbers have fallen so far behind projections. Moreover, the NAO concluded last year that the economic case for it “remains marginal”. No metro system, either, has swallowed anything like the £7.6 billion consumed by the upgrade of the West Coast Mainline, which has resulted in faster intercity trains but reduced local services in the West Midlands to make way for them. The essential difference between provincial metro systems and the likes of the Channel Tunnel is that 190mph trains through Kent are exciting, whereas trams pottering through the backstreets of Toxteth are not.

The prestigious projects get showered with public money because they boost ministers’ egos, while less glamorous schemes are shelved and existing transport services neglected.

Every morning when I see my son off to the bus stop to catch a slow and grimy bus to school at a cost of £4.50 for the ten-mile journey to Cambridge, I try not to think of those billions lavished on Eurostar-loads of croissant-chomping businessmen. Our local bus service has to manage without subsidy, in spite of there being a dire need to attract motorists on to the buses to cut congestion.

When he was Transport Secretary, Alistair Darling declared that rural rail lines might have to close because the Government “is not in the business of carting fresh air around the country”. It is a different story, of course, when the fresh air is ever-so-lightly perfumed with the aftershave of wealthy business travellers. As far as public transport is concerned, Labour has gone full circle since 1997: services are for the few and not the many.[The comment below on the timesonline web site published on

Saturday 6 October 2007, from MUHAMMAD HAQUE, the organiser of KHOODEELAAR! The NO TO CROSSRAIL HOLE CAMPAIGN ]  You have, not for the first time in recent months, produced the best factual account of what is going on around the seriously flawed CrossRail scam.It is still not too late for it to be scrapped. The amount of public money wasted so far in maintaining the huge CrossRail company bureaucracy [CLRL] will be quite small when compared with the gigantic waste unless the plot is scrapped. Then we must look at the real economics of transport in and around London.Gordon Brown has admitted [Tuesday 2 October 2007] in effect that the UK central govt has made [provisional] cuts in other sectors in order to find the money to put into Crossrail. How can that be economically sound!Or ‘’prudent’’, to go back to an era in public finance where responsibility was a precondition for making credible decisions about spending public money. The promotion of the Crossrail bears signs of the issue of transport as being abused by seekers of other aims. Like electoral advantage! Not economic success for Muhammad Haque, London, UK.’’AADHIKARonline unquoting the Times piece [London Saturday 6 October 2007, print and web site editions] sub-headed ‘Crossrail is another project for the rich, not the poor’

Khoodeelaar! Monitoring of the ‘deal’ between Gordon Brown and Ken Lyingstill Livingstone has been able to detect early on the truth of what actually underlies the boast that City of London is making any contribution to the cost of the CRASSrail.
AADHIKAROnline exposing Crossrail scam by Gordon Brown, as reported on Indymedia today Friday 5 October 2007

AADHIKAROnline in association with Khoodeelaar! Has published the most comprehensive examination of the flaws of Crossrail. This statement is true even by including the entire so-called mainstream UK media and their promotions of CRASSrail over the past four years. We are now in the process of publishing in print forms some of our most wide ranging observations and forecasts and warnings. In the meantime, today, Friday 5 October 2007, we are running a day long commentary and responses after Alistair Darling [the CrossRail Bill man himself, now the UK Finance minister] actually delivers his touted economic statement today endorsing ken Livingstone’s re-election bid as ‘Undone mayor’ [May 2008] by using CRASSrail as a propaganda tool for the re-election of the egotist…

A scheme that will cut journey times across London and ease overcrowding for East Anglian rail passengers has moved a step closer after a multi-million pound funding package was approved.
But there are fears that the Crossrail scheme could reduce capacity on the
Norwich to Liverpool Street mainline, cutting passenger services and forcing some rail freight on to the road.
The Crossrail scheme, the biggest rail project in the northern hemisphere, will slash travel times from Liverpool Street and connect the capital’s key economic centres, which between them provide about 850,000 jobs.
The high-frequency route, first proposed in 1989, will run from
Heathrow Airport and Maidenhead in the west to Paddington, through the West End, the City of London and Canary Wharf and on to East London, Essex and Kent.
The new trains will reduce the current journey time from Ealing Broadway to
Liverpool Street from 37 minutes by Tube to 20 minutes by Crossrail.
Building work could start as early as 2010 with the first trains running by 2015.
The City of
London Corporation‘s ruling body, the Court of Common Council, held an emergency meeting this week, voting unanimously to approve a financial package, estimated at between £250m and £350m.
Gordon Brown pledged his support for the scheme while still chancellor, telling City leaders in June: “Because I do recognise the benefits Crossrail will bring to the City, we are using every effort to find a solution to its affordability. I will ensure this work is stepped up.”
More than £1bn of extra contributions to Crossrail have been pledged by city institutions after a concerted government campaign to get a funding deal agreed in advance of next week’s Comprehensive Spending Review and a possible snap general election.
The cost of the project, which will involve the construction of new tunnels under the capital, has been estimated at £16bn, which will be paid for by the government,
London businesses and fare revenues.
Crossrail’s supporters claim the new service will provide the extra capacity needed for
London‘s transport infrastructure, increase the nation’s prosperity by £30bn over the next 60 years and save business time worth nearly £5bn.
They predict it will also cool
London‘s overheated homes market. Among the businesses supporting the project – although not financially – is Aviva, Norwich Union‘s parent company.
Group chief executive Andrew Moss said: “The UK’s capital needs a state-of-the-art transport infra-structure which reflects the modern world we live and work in.
“We operate in an increasingly globalised world, and Crossrail’s potential to provide fast and direct access to the rest of the world by significantly improving links between the City of London, Canary Wharf and Heathrow makes it an attractive proposition.”
Peter Lawrence, president of Norwich-based pressure group Rail Future, said: “It will bring benefits to rail passengers but I have one concern at the moment.
“The last I heard Network Rail wanted to give Crossrail exclusive use of one set of tracks from
Liverpool Street to Shenfield. That would mean a lot of rail freight would have to be transferred to road. Likewise, that could affect passenger services to Norwich.”
But an industry source said Rail Future’s concerns were “unlikely to be an issue”. One Railway declined to comment until an official announcement on the future of Crossrail.

CRASSrail angst already evident in the CRASSrail hole plot-plugger FT outlet this morning! And whatever brain-affecting liquid has the so-called Superlinker ‘expert’ Michael Schabas been drinking all this time for him to surface as a belated jumper on the CRASSrail bandwagon with the idiotic claim that it is 90 percent right about central London? It is ‘experts’ with no ethics and no spine like Michael Schabas that have given the crooks of Big Business the room to stage the loot of the public funds via a compromised and morally deflated Gordon Brown. KHOODEELAAR! Continuing our responses to the latest spin and hype for the CRASSrail hole plot in London

The KHOODEELAAR! Movement has been about identifying; monitoring, examining and opposing the Crossrail hole plot attacks on the community in the East End of London. In the course of our campaign so far of 45 months involving non-stop and round the clock programme of researches and original studies of the CRASSRAIL scheme itself as well as our auditing of the various activities and lies by the London Crossrail hole-potters pluggers and touts, we have come across a set of patterns that highlight the culture of corruption in Blaired Britain. That corruption is nowhere more evident than in the pages and on the web sites of all the ‘mainstream’ media of mass propaganda in the UK, as is typified in the contents of the outlets seen so far on Thursday 4 October 2007. Starting with the BBC and containing the Guardian, the FT and ending with the ‘Independent’, the plugs for the seriously flawed and the corruptly over-hyped Big Business Crossrail plot are couched in identically corrupt and untruthful language. In fact the pieces are sub-nationalistic, the fervour is not seen anywhere in any genuinely economic project in a supposedly democratic and mature society. Only in a climate of cult-like fanatic outburst of frenzy produced by irrational, unthinking populism that can only serve the egos of the megalomaniacs [in this case the ego-fragile Ken Livingstone bent on playing the Big Business game so he can claim to be their trusted tout against the people of London] who are or may be pushing the plot from behind has there been any comparable evidence of hysteria ‘for’ [!!!!] the mantra-like chants: ‘Crossrail, Crossrail’.
This outbreak of irrationality is not in keeping with the now forgotten era of prudence that was until the last hour associated with Gordon Brown as the UK Finance Minister for 10 years nor is this irrationality compatible with any of the avowed tenets by which even the greedy goons of the City of London claim to do THEIR business of day to day looting of the world… The lunatic plugs for CRASSrail hole plot WILL come back t haunt them all… REMEMBER, you read about it HERE first!!!
The London INDEPENDENT is full of contradictory ‘facts’ in its piece on its web site plugging the CRASSrail, Thursday 4 October 2007

From the previous editions of AADHIKAROnline

CRASSrail funding ‘ coup’ or compromise over the extraction of allegedly more than £1Billion of contribution from Big Business is BOUND to cause more problems than the pluggers are admitting it will do [they are admitting to no such problems as they are] drumming on about the positive ‘benefits’ that Crossrail will bring! By NO means is CRASSrail going to deliver the transport service that the people of London need…And by no means is it going to deliver any benefits in proportion to the overall economy, to the people in areas targeted for Crossrail hole attacks
We shall be monitoring and commenting on the latest CRASS phase of the CRASSRAIL funding corruption. Before we do so, we put on the record below the clues-filled promotion piece as carried by the normally over-hyped ‘financial’ paper the FT on their web site at 2200 Hrs GMT on

City gives extra £1bn to London rail link

By Bob Sherwood, London and South-East Correspondent Published: October 3 2007 22:59 | Last updated: October 3 2007 22:59 More than £1bn of extra contributions to Crossrail have been wrung from City institutions after Gordon Brown ratcheted up the pressure to get a funding deal agreed.Senior government officials turned up the heat in negotiations to persuade the City of London Corporation, BAA, Canary Wharf and large companies to promise hundreds of millions of pounds extra for the capital’s proposed east-west rail link project. There has been a frantic push in recent days to get the deal done ahead of the public spending review and as part of a clearing-the-decks exercise amid growing speculation of a snap general election.

The uncompromising approach from top Downing Street aides also reflects a political desire to demonstrate that the City has been “sweated”. The government is sensitive to criticisms from other parts of the UK that the project represents another huge investment in London, particularly in the wake of the row over the bill for the 2012 Olympics. The working assumption from Crossrail supporters had been that the Treasury would pay for a third of the projected £16bn cost, with another third coming from the fare box and the final third from the private sector, largely in the form of a supplement to business rates. However, Mr Brown was determined to make the beneficiaries of Crossrail pay more, which resulted in the “funding gap” that has finally been closed after tough behind-the-scenes talks. The final piece of the funding jigsaw fell into place this week when the Corporation’s Court of Common Council, its ruling body, overwhelmingly voted to pay a financial contribution, believed to be about £250m.As a measure of what some have felt were “strong-arm tactics”, though, some of the City’s common councillors thought they were being railroaded into making a decision after being given just three days’ notice of the emergency meeting.About £100m extra is also believed to have been promised from City companies. The fact that the institutions have been prepared to come up with the cash is a mark of how badly the City feels it needs Crossrail.Baroness Jo Valentine, chief executive of the business group London First, said: “London business leaders know that without a contribution, the government would struggle politically to deliver this vital project. They also know that if their people can’t get to work, their businesses will be damaged.”The business-backed campaign for Crossrail estimates that the scheme would add £30bn to UK gross domestic product over 60 years, while saving business time estimated at almost £5bn.Conversely, without Crossrail, they say that the limitations of London’s transport system would hold back the most productive part of the UK economy. The London plan predicts 440,000 new jobs in financial and business services by 2016, increasing greatly the strains on public transport.Baroness Valentine added: “Without Crossrail, and soon, London’s attractiveness to overseas investors looking to site European HQs will be put in the balance.”Francis Salway, chief executive of Land Securities, agreed. “London has the ingredients to sustain its status as a world city and to make a massive contribution to the UK economy. However, this is at risk from a creaking and overloaded infrastructure,” he said.“Crossrail is vital in that it will link Heathrow with the economic powerhouses of the West End, the City and Canary Wharf.”One of the obvious beneficiaries of the scheme is Canary Wharf, where employment is forecast to grow to 125,000. With Crossrail providing much greater capacity for commuters, though, Canary Wharf could eventually support more than 225,000 jobs.Copyright The Financial Times Limited 2007

Khoodeelaar! Demo in Hanbury Street against Crossrail holes in the East End of London

Khoodeelaar! Say No to Tower Hamlets Council role in bringing the Crossrail hole threats to local streets, the environment and the economic life of ordinary people in the
East End of London. Residents facing the Crossrail hole digging noise, disruption, devastation set to last 4-6 years, gathered in the Hanbury Street [one of the targets of the Crossrail hole attacks] off Brick Lane London E1 on Monday 1 October 2007 to reiterate the community demand that the ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council must tell the UK Government to scrap the Crossrail hole plan. The demand has been made regularly on Tower Hamlets Council for years, especially since 22 January 2006 when a large meeting held in the same Hanbury Street passed a motion put forward by myself that Tower Hamlets Council pass their own unequivocal motion saying a clear No to the Crossrail hole Bill. The demonstration on Monday 1 October 2007 was on the 19th day of the month of Ramadaan. And it also was held within hours of Gordon Brown’s appearance as a chum of Big Business in the City of London where Brown took part in an electioneering exercise to boost the flagging chances of Crossrail hole plot-backer ‘Undone mayor’ Ken Livingstone at the scheduled ‘Greater London’ elections for ‘the post of mayor’ in May 2008. Brown’s imprudence in promoting the Crassrail hole scene will come back to haunt him. The project is seriously flawed, is unconstitutional, breaches the Human rights Conventions and is NOT about solving the dire problems of public transport that do exist in London. As Brown has now admitted, the Crossrail hole scheme is a business and a City of London-prompted scheme, as OPPOSED to being one that ordinary people have asked for! [To be continued]

Khoodeelaar! Next stage of campaign to stop Crossrail hole attacks on the East End of London: demonstration held

By©Muhammad Haque 0120 Hrs GMT London Tuesday 2 October 2007

Khoodeelaar! held a brief demonstration on Monday 1 October 2007 in the Hanbury Street, off Brick Lane London E1 near the Crossrail planned hole. This was held to mark the publication of the texts and the implications of the petition to the UK House of Commons against Crossrail hole Bill signed by the residents of Castlemain Street, Lomas Street, Trahorn Close and Wodeham Gardens. [Details of the petition are accessible via the Khoodeelaar.com and the AADHIKAROnline web sites]. The key constitutional law point of the particular Khoodeelaar! Petition is that the current ‘Crossrail Bill’ in the UK House of Commons is incompatible with the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms [also referred to as ‘The Conventions’] and that therefore the House of Commons should review the Bill. This is part of the constitutional law challenges against the UK Government that Khoodeelaar! is set to mount [initially in UK Courts] to stop the Crossrail hole attacks against the East End including the area where the signatories of this particular petition are concerned about.
The group of the signatories to the latest the Khoodeelaar! Petition to the UK House of Commons against Crossrail hole Bill who joined this demonstration on Monday 1 October 2007 live in the Castlemain Street, Lomas Street, Trahorn Close and Wodeham Gardens – all targeted for the Crossrail hole digging disruption, noise and disruption set to last for 4 to 5 years unless the plans are scrapped.

There had been solid evidence of Boris Johnson’ ambivalent, nay, non-existent morality even before he was found a pace and became Heseltine’s successor as the politician whose manes became their main claim to fame! Johnson is not going to get elected if he continues to exhibit such a persistent attachment to stupidity as he did today by again braying for the crass CrossRail. Johnson does not understand what are the fundamental transport needs in London. And he will seriously undermine any claim he might have left to be taken as a thinking contender for the office of mayor in London if he repeats the stupid mantra for Crossrail.

One of the facts put on the record of the full council meeting in Tower Hamlets held on 11 September 2007 was the work of the Khoodeelaar! campaign against Crossrail hole. Several speakers taking part in the discussion of the motion against Crossrail hole as tabbed by the Opposition RESPECT Group acknowledged Khoodeelaar! work in brining to the attention the Cross rail hole threat to the East End of London One

The lack of democracy in inner cities UK that has been spreading under the Blairing regime now fronted by Gordon Brown, is causing local people to lose out to the touts of Big Business who control the so-called local councils. This became again evident in the behaviour of the formal full Council of the ‘Tower Hamlets’ borough council earlier this month. The Council failed to pass the motion against Crossrail hole/s attacks on the East End in whose name the controlling bureaucracy on that Council does make its career and enrich itself. The community continues to lose out…

In the two interviews/footage that have been broadcast on the ‘London Tonight’ sot at 1730 GMT ITV1 and on Channel 4 news at 1900 GMT, carrying info about Boris Johnson and his ‘pans’ for London, there have been mentions of the Boris Plan to scrap the Ken Bendy Buses and the expression of concerns that crime is thwarting life for ordinary people in London. There has been NO mention of CrossRail. And emphatically, no endorsement of Crossrail. It is understood that Johnson DID make a superficial reference to Crossrail. But that can only be to do with his Party line being imposed on him. The overblown promotional image of CRASSrail hole plot-backer Ken Livingstone being ‘lauded’ by Gordon Brown has now been included in the 24 that have followed as part of the propaganda [=lying] package that Livingstone is promoting of himself as a Gordon Brown ally. This is al to do with Brown’s promotion for the Blaired regime to retain power after what may yet become a snap general election and Livingstone’s dire desperate need to get re-elected to destroy the remaining social and environmental fabrics of London at the scheduled May 2008 election for mayor of London.
Livingstone has been taking up CRASSrail, even though he has had to stage an about turn in the attitude towards his recent Big Business colluders, the City of
London interests. Contrary to Livingstone’s display of confidence [he has been talking up the issue of Crossrail funding and support by Gordon Brown now for the three months since Brown got into 10 Downing Street] and faked chumminess with Transport ministers, all is not well with the CURSED rail scheme and Livingstone would restrain himself from deranged bragging.. But he is an extremely fragile and insecure egotist who will not be modest so long as he can brag on at the expense of the public and can abuse the money that belongs to the people of London
View a pro-Crossrail hole plot-backer , Degeneration web site publicising Livingstone’s boastful statements at the Blaired party Jamboree in Bournemouth on Wednesday 26 September 2007 that he was getting new powers from Gordon brown to compel the City of London to make financial contribution to the construction of CRASSrail. Livingstone also boasted that Ruth Kelly had come to within 2 percent of completing the funding package for the CRASSrail onslaught.

Khoodeelaar! tells ‘London mayor’ [Tory Party] candidate Boris Johnson how he can beat CROSSRAIL hole plotter Ken Livingstone

The Khoodeelaar! organiser Muhammad Haque posted one of the very first responses to the announcement this morning [Thursday 27 September 2007] that Boris Johnson was going to be the UK Conservative party’s candidate for the mayor of London at the election scheduled for May 2008:From the web site of the London Daily Telegraph” Your headline question “How can Boris Johnson win the London mayoral election?” can be answered by telling Boris Johnson again that he has got to stand up for democracy, for accountability in locally elected public bodies and he has to show that he is morally above the level of Ken Livingstone.

As far as the ‘big issues’ affecting London go, Boris Johnson has got to show, credibly and honestly and pragmatically that he knows the difference between a slogan and real action.Let Boris say that he will back our call to scrap the flawed Crossrail scheme and intelligently opt for the use of the available public resource to finding a humane and environmentally sound and optimum solution to the transport needs of London. That Boris is better than Livingstone in recognising London as the city of so many different richnesses of backgrounds, languages and cultures and that he will serve the people as our civilised champion for a more tolerant and better accountable and democratic London.Posted by Muhammad Haque on September 27, 2007 12:44The ‘East London Idiotiser’ [print edition, weekly, Thursday 27 September 2007] has taken almost 19 months before realising that it had at least one picture of the Khoodeelaar! Demonstration held outside the Tower Hamlets Council [on Wednesday 1 March 2006].

We expose the idiocies of the ‘local’ paper that has once again misjudged editorially and has given far more space to spurious, Idiotising items and plugs than to the serious the battle to defend the East End of London against Big Business and City of London interests . We show that the Idiotiser is continuing to publish falsehoods for Crossrail and suppressing the facts of what it knows about the string campaign going on against the Crossrail hole plan and also against the local, Tower Hamlets Council’s role in inviting the CrossRail hole problems against the East End of London.[To be continued]

Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill campaign constitutional, legislative, legal and economic analysis on the Times website

The Khoodeelaar! Campaign against the Crossrail hole Bill has been the main source of the key analysis of the flawed Bill, known as the ‘Crossrail Bill’ currently in the UK House of Commons. The Khoodeelaar! Analysis has been, from the beginning of our campaign against Crossrail in January 2004, that the scheme is not economically sound. But the flaws are not confined just to the uneconomic character of the messed up project. As the Times has begun to recognise lately, it is at the centre of a funding row that in fact shows deeper flaws. Today [Thursday 27 September 2007] the Times has allowed as many as three writers to put together a single piece about the latest impasse over CRASSrail. What the Times has as yet not said, the Khoodeelaar! Organiser MUHAMMAD HAQUE has set out and the Times online has published the Khoodeelaar! analysis that is utterly central to understanding why this Crossrail scheme should be scrapped and a proper alternative project devised. Bournemouth banalities Wednesday 26 September 2007 – BBC lies with Ken Livingstone for CRASSrail hole plot

We show that Livingstone’s latest propaganda, – perpetrated via the former Labour Party’s Blairing jamboree being held at Bournemouth, – for Big Business Crassrail was another big lie. We also show that the BBC reports promoting Livingstone have also been lies .

CROSSRAIL scheme is being taken apart by its very promoters and pluggers THEMSELVES.

KHOODEELAAR! exposing the latest shallowness of the City of London CrossRail hole plot-backer propagandist for Big Business looters of public money Michael Snide Snyder and the colluders in the falsification of the evidence with Snyder, the London Standard and the FT – coming here shortly

AADHIKARonline quoting from the CRASSrail hole plot-lies-backer reports on the Bloomberg news plugging for Crossrail from Bournemouth and showing Kitty Useless Usher as having suddenly become another expert on the UK economy despite exhibiting symptoms of fundamental ignorance about economics, Tuesday 25 September 2007
Treasury Minister Kitty Ussher told Bloomberg News she couldn’t give details on her department’s review of the matter. The Treasury hasn’t said when it will finish its study. She said she would encourage the government to build Crossrail, a rail link between
Heathrow Airport and the financial district, to keep London an attractive place to work.
“I want to make sure my colleagues really understand how important it is to the future vibrancy of the City,” Ussher said on the sidelines of the conference in
Bournemouth.

Action archive against Tower Hamlets Council’s Crossrail hole plot against the Brick Lane Whitechapel and Stepney London E1 Area: When ‘local MP’ George Galloway spoke out against the pretext of Crossrail station at WhitechapelKhoodeelaar! put the spotlight of inquiry on the colluding Councillors on Tower Hamlets Council [14 February 2006]

Question from Muhammad Haque, Khoodeelaar! – The Brick Lane, Whitechapel and Stepney London E1 Area campaign against Crossrail hole Bill 2007 to the ‘full council’ of Tower Hamlets held on Tuesday 11 September 2007–

1.      The following question was sent to Tower Hamlets Council as a DRAFT. Khoodeelaar! NEVER received a specific answer to this from the Tower Hamlets Council employee/s concerned who had requested the draft version to be sent to them.

2.     The draft question did contain the key evidential and factual components of the main demand from the community that the Tower Hamlets Council conducted itself in accordance with the known, the real, the reasonable, the legitimate and the duly expressed and the duly represented [by the Khoodeelaar! campaign and our supporters] requirements of the community vis a vis the CrossRail scheme promoters’ interests.

3.     The formally put ‘answer’ to the question, as included in the agenda package for the Council ‘full meeting’ on Tuesday 11 September 2007 did NOT answer ANY of the components of the question.

4.     The admission by the Tower Hamlets Council’s bureaucracy that it was CROSSRAIL that ultimately dictated the location of the Holes and other attacks on the community in the Borough of Tower Hamlets [in the context of the Khoodeelaar! question and the accompanying evidence of the campaign and the relevant representations, advice, questions and demands as put to and made available to the Tower Hamlets Council between 31 January 2004 and 11 September 2007] gave the game away.

5.     The Tower Hamlets Council exhibited and confirmed in that admission that the Council had been LYING to the community over the previous years in relation to the question of its [Tower Hamlets Council’s] pro-Crossrail hole-role as against the rights, demands and representations of the community in the East End of London.

6.     The Khoodeelaar! campaign has been INITIATING and pioneering – a number of new and sustained legal and constitutional and analytical ways and tools in the defence of the community against the stooge role-paying ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council. We have noticed that the language, the analysis and some of the analogies and criteria [we have been devising and or updating] have already been followed [and are being followed] with some modifications by some other groups in the East End. [We shall examine some relevant ones in due course]

7.     We have been reporting on the events that took pace on 11 September 2007 in relation to CrossRail hole role of the Tower Hamlets Council. We held a demonstration outside the Council building shortly before the ‘full council’ met and we had the following question formally presented to the formal session of the ‘full council’ and we observed the forma motion against CrossRail hole being moved at the ‘full council’ meeting by the Opposition group of councillors [RESPECT]. Those who spoke in support of the motion included the formal mover Fozol Miah and the Respect Group leader Abjol Miah and the Respect group councillor Lutfa Begum.

8.     In the course of the next parts, we shall deal with the full texts of the formal a reply to our Question and also examine the ‘political’ conduct, behaviour, tactic and tendencies of the other two ‘opposition’ groups, the ‘Conservatives’ and the ‘Lib Dems’ who united to undermine and or to mock the RESPECT groups’ motion against the Crossrail hole role being played by the controlling Blairist clique on the Council.
A version of the Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill Question to Tower Hamlets Council ‘full meeting’ Tuesday 11 September 2007
Given that the meeting held against the CrossRail hole bill and the plan and scheme included in the current ‘CrossRail Bill’ [in the HOUSE OF COMMONS] at the Brady centre in the Hanbury street London E1 on Sunday 22 January 2006 clearly and without dissent or departure or alteration agreed with and approved or and passed the motion put to it by Mr Muhammad Haque, the Khoodeelaar! campaign organiser, given that the contents of the motion as put and passed were conveyed in exact and express and clear form to Christine Gilbert the then holder of the post of chief executive in the council on Wednesday 25 January 2006 and given that the main thrust and the main demand by and from the community to the Tower Hamlets Council as expressed, seen, represented and denoted and connoted in that motion was that the same council should pass an unequivocal motion saying and meaning no to the CrossRail hole bill and given that the same meeting was also attended by a number of tower hamlets borough councillors including at least two who sat on the same council in the name of the area affected by the CrossRail hole directly, namely the brick lane part of the east end of London and given that all the references to the ‘CrossRail bill’ published by the same council since 22 January 2006 have been to the effect that the council was ‘mitigating the effects’ of the CrossRail hole to the local community and given that the Khoodeelaar! campaign against CrossRail hole attacks has written and published daily critical examinations of all the relevant assertions and postures of the same Tower Hamlets Council since 22 January 2006, why has the Tower Hamlets Council not passed the motion that the community demanded be passed and the motion that the community wants the council to pass? what specific evidential, constitutional, legal and lawful record/s is/are there – whether kept in one unit in the lb Tower Hamlets Council or in more than one or whether in the ‘town hall’ or elsewhere – and as created by or under the auspices of the entity of the lb Tower Hamlets Council to truthfully, independently verifiably deal with each of the 800 separate questions that Khoodeelaar! has put to the Tower Hamlets Council about the matter since
31 January 2004?

KHOODEELAAR! Reports on Gordon Brown at Bournemouth and reviews each of the components of his speech – in a few hours, here and on our associated web sites

Khoodeelaar! Examination of the latest lie being promoted at Bournemouth via the Blaired Party fringe where the mysteriously promoted and platformed Oona King is given another platform to falsely claim that she used to worry abut CrossRail [when she was misrepresenting Bethnal Green and Bow in an official capacity] will appear here and on our associated web sites during the day today Monday 24 September 2007

The FT admits it at last!!: The City of London IS trying to rob the UK public to enable Big Business to pocket £Billions under covers of constructing Crossrail, as Khoodeelaar! has been saying now for almost 4 years!

What ‘activists’ is Michael Snyder ‘thinking’ of when he writes in the FT outfit, published at 1930 Hrs GMT today [Sunday 23 September 2007], ‘urging’ or rather lecturing the ‘activists’ to act a stouts for the City of London to the rest of the population?View the latest sample of the FT [‘Financial Times’] affording yet another platform to the Crossrail hole plotter from the City of Lon don Michael Snyder to perpetrate YET another LIE for CRASSrail. Snyder is disingenuous and dishonest. He has said this before – that whenever he talks to the US banks chiefs, they ask [‘unprompted’ says the snide one] when will Crossrail be built in London! The answer must be: why doesn’t Snide Michael tell them that there is no demand in the London public for CRASSrail. That there is no economic justification for putting £Billions of public money into constructing a transport line that does Not address the optimum transport needs. Why doesn’t Snide Snyder say that in London the existing public infrastructure is in bad need of maintenance and refurbishment and repair which if carried out would more than meet the actual transport capacity needs as well as providing for the needs of any peripheral, banking chiefs’ [‘public’] transport needs that the CrossRail pluggers say Crossrail will provide… [To be continued]

COMING here shortly the following original comments and items, concentrating on the deliberate creation of poverty and Degeneration in the UK inner cities under the Gordon Brown-fronted administration. We show why ‘Undone mayor’ Ken Livingstone has been a courier of social calamities being stoked up and piled up in inner city London and why the corruption that has been allowed to take hold on the Tower Hamlets Council is destroying the crucial fabrics of the community in the East End. We expose the litany of lies that the Blaired clique has been telling against ordinary people in the East End. We link al those together and show that the Crossrail hole attacks on the East End are part and parcel of the plan to physically destroy the East End…. We show how it is not possible to ‘benefit’ people who are the very targets of the destruction… And how they never intended to benefit the people they are embarked on to dislocate, destabilise and destroy…. The three words that Khoodeelaar! Has used from the word go: since 31 January 2004….

Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill, No to Crossrail hole-inviter Tower Hamlets Council

The KHOODEELAAR! Campaign has been advocating the defence of the East End community on top of opposing the CrossRail hole attacks. The implications and the reaches of our campaign will be set out and updated starting on Monday 24 September 2007. We shall set out the context of the Gordon Brown speech scheduled to be delivered at Bournemouth that is being widely touted to include de facto endorsement of the attacks by CrossRail against the East End of London.

Continuing the reports on the Khoodeelaar! Actions on Tuesday 11 September 2007 against Tower Hamlets Council’s CrossRail hole/s-inviting role. We have already published on the internet our exclusive and comprehensive series of reports covering the relevant aspects of the activities, starting on 12 September 2007. The Khoodeelaar! No to CrossRail hole actions on Tuesday 11 September 2007 included our latest demonstration outside the Tower Hamlets Council. We also had a formal question on the Council’s ‘full council’ meeting agenda of business on that day. The reports of that question have been already published. Other aspects of that encounter in the ‘Tower Hamlets Council chamber’ [in the ‘Mulberry Place’, near the Blackwall tunnel, in London E14] will be published shortly. We also observed on Tuesday 11 September 2007 the behaviour of the controlling clique on the Council being aided by the ‘Opposition’ grouplets Lib Dems [6 councillors] and the Tories [7 councillors] in backing the Crossrail plan against the Community. What one opposition councillor [Lib Dems, group ‘leader’] backing CrossRail did say about the ‘disabled’, we shall deal with in context separately. Then we observed the behaviour of the three ‘councillors’ ‘for’ ‘Bethnal Green South’ ward stay silent when the ‘RESPECT” group’s [11 councillors] motion against CrossRail hole attacks was being formally ‘debated’.

9.     What has the ‘deputy’ leader on Tower Hamlets Crossrail-hole-plot-backing Council been telling the people who are the targets of one of the Crossrail holes?

The people we are here referring to are the ones who live in the Castlemain Street, Lomas Street, Trahorn Close and Wodeham gardens, to the east of the Vallance Road and to the north of Durward Street [off Brady Street, which is off Whitechapel Road]. What has his co-councillor for the same [Tower Hamlets Council] Ward, ‘Bethnal Green South’ been saying and doing about the Crossrail hole attacks planned against ‘his ward constituents’? Which ones of them decided to leave the Council chamber [in Mulberry Pace’ on Tuesday 11 September 2007 just when I was about to put my formal Question to the ‘full Council’ about why the controlling clique had failed and refused to pass the No to CrossRail hole Motion that the community had demanded it pass? – And other reports, Here, shortly

Muhammad Haque commentary on the ‘war’ on George Galloway, the MP for Bethnal Green and Bow -1

This edition includes an Exclusive report on the latest row between George Galloway and his ‘RESPECT’ ‘party’ colleagues that took place on Saturday 22 September 2007

1150 Hrs GMT London
Sunday 23 September 2007

Last Friday’s edition of the BBC2 programme ‘NEWSNIGHT’ promoted the voters-rejected candidate Oona King as if she had just come back from climbing
Mount Everest! As had the Andrew Neill-fronted ‘THIS WEEK’ slot the previous night shown on BBC1. There is such an acceptance of this token of ‘multiple ethnicities and affiliations’ being flaunted on all the mainstream media channels that the ordinary people face a serious risk of being almost told that defeat at an election in Britain no longer means that. That backing the violent occupation of Iraq is an achievement that is worthy of being recognised by the token being given the promotion that Oona King has been being given.
The mainstream news outlets and their agenda-setters have yet to digest the particular row that occurred yesterday [Saturday
22 September 2007] between George Galloway the current MP for Bethnal Green and Bow and some members of the ‘Respect’ organisation.
I did not observe the event.
But I understand that George Galloway either threatened or is about to make public the threat to leave the organisation. Or to split off from them.
The question is: will NEWSNIGHT then interview Oona King again about that?
The answer is: they probably will. If not immediately but on a date not long after. And if it will not be NEWSNIGHT, Oona will be offered the choice of any of the other dozens of media platforms in the mainstream.
She does not have to show evidence of independent ETHICAL intelligence or integrity or dignity. All she has to do is to remain in the popular imagination fed by constant media and subliminal brainwashing as the Blair Babe who ‘lost’ to George Galloway! The truth is that she was rejected by the constituency because she was no good at telling the truth on the key issues that mattered to the constituency.
There may yet be a series of books in what she was ousted about. Those books, yet to be published, may outsell anything Oona has been propped up to do with her post facto ‘diaries’.
Oona can be any prime minister’s ‘babe’ in pursuit of her career at being ‘in the limelight’ on the reflected assumption that she was ‘an MP’ which in truth followed from her being foisted in 1997 upon the constituency as a result of a series of previous internal crimes and corruption within what became the Blaired party in Tower Hamlets!
So what was the big row between Galloway and his ‘Respect’ organisation colleagues about?
It was about
Galloway’s criticisms of certain of their members. But they did not say that. Not in so many words. What they did instead was to say things about Galloway that they had not said for at least 20 months.
Things that the Khoodeelaar! Campaign has been referring to.
Things like what do THEY do to show that they have been in solidarity with the community?
Who created the mess over the theft and loss of
UK Bangladeshis’ money stolen via ‘First Solution’?
Who gave credibility to the Blaired Party operatives that had infiltrated ‘RESPECT’ and even became candidates in some places as ‘RESPECT’ ones at the last local Council elections?
Who would have voted for THEIR candidate in Shadwell had THEY succeeded?
Who are THEY? They are the very ones that have not been giving any publicity to any stance – if they have any stance- to some of the most urgent issues and causes in the local community in Tower Hamlets. THEY are the ones who have given misleading accounts of what is happening in the local community to George Galloway. They say that they are not happy with the
Galloway appearance on the Channel 4 Big Brother show in January 2006. But they are rewriting history. They did not acknowledge the work that Khoodeelaar! Has done to RESTORE all their credibility because none of them had the moral courage to come out and make public one single thing that they could say about that. The only thing they did say – and long after the Blairing propaganda onslaught had died down, was so muted and so inconsequential that it does not warrant repetition. Khoodeelaar! Has made clear all along that as the local MP for the Bethnal Green and Bow area, Galloway deserved to be given the information about what the community needed and wanted. We have given more than 300 communications intending them to be drawn to Galloway’s attention. We have not seen those acknowledged. Who hid them? Who suppressed those? What did the ‘RESPECT’ ‘party’ organisation do with those?
Who was it that decided to shore up some of the most discredited and corrupt individuals associated with the Blair outfits in Tower Hamlets and give those positive platforms and space via the ‘RESPECT’ organisation?
Who decided to not oppose CrossRail?
Who told
Galloway to stop talking against Crossrail?
Galloway gave his own presentation or representation of his petition formally before the ‘select committee’ in June 2006. Where were the ‘RESPECT’ organisation then?
Galloway was accompanied by only one member of his staff [who might or might not be one of the RESPECT central organisation then].
ALL the others present in the Committee room were Khoodeelaar! Campaigners against Crossrail or other petitioners against Crossrail and a local councillor [for part of the time].
Why have none of the ‘central’ ‘RESPECT’ members [other than the named councillors whom we have named already] been present at the Khoodeelaar! Demonstrators against Crossrail since April 2006?
Why have they not mentioned the campaign against Crossrail in any of the 200 or so particular ‘letters’ that they sent to the ‘local’
East London Idiotiser?
The only ones that have ever been present have had to be repeatedly invited to attend.
So when Galloway made dozens of statements against Crossrail during the months of February, March and April 2006 [up to at least 9 April 2006], did he do so in the knowledge that the ‘RESPECT” ‘party’ members who are now poised to give Oona King the pleasure of being given some ‘real facts’ to celebrate about helping to sink Galloway, were not in agreement with him on that?
Did they therefore pretend to be against CrossRail when all the while they were in agreement with Ken Livingstone and wanted the £Billions to be made available to Big Business?
They have NOT followed as supporters ANY local campaigns organised and maintained by ordinary members of the community against the Blairing corrupt Tower Hamlets council.
Is that because they think that they know better than the local community?
There are MORE things that THEY have in common wit the BLAIRED Party clique now in control of Tower Hamlets Council and of the party positions beyond than would appear from some of the slogans.
THAT is why the ‘RESPECT’ organisation will not survive any dramatic split that may yet take place between George Galloway whilst he is still an MP and the rest of the outfit that he helped to create and publicise.

Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail has been studying the widest possible range of Crassness associated with the pluggers of CrossRail now for almost 4 years. It is the evidence of the facts of the Crassness that we have called the project CRASS. We have also called it flawed. Fundamentally flawed. As we are pointing out round the clock, the crassness does not abate. The nearer they come to clinching a deal for Big Busies to loot the UK public of £Billions the crasser hey get. And so we share this latest find with all our visitors and observers.

View one sample of CRASSrail pluggers’ idiocy we captured at exactly 0140 Hrs GMT today,. Sunday 23 September 2007

At the ‘full Council’ meeting of the East End of London borough of Tower Hamlets held on Tuesday 11 September 2007, the Khoodeelaar! movement extracted an astonishing confession by the controlling clique on the Council. The confession was that it, the Council, had been subservient ton the un-named forces that were promoting the CRASSrail hole attacks against the East End of London. The confession was couched in language that only the core of the secret CrossRail hole-plotters could devise. It gave paramount place to ‘CrossRail’.
It did not refer to any right of the local people that have been targeted for attacks by CrossRail. It said as follows
“ Ultimately, Council must respect Crossrail’s overarching duty to have regard to the paramount importance of the health and safety of Crossrail passengers and workers which will dictate the location of such shafts.” View here the first report as published on Indymedia UK by AADHIKAROnline in the early hours of Wednesday 12 September 2007 about that disgraceful betrayal of the East End by Tower Hamlets Council controlling clique of Big Business Blairists that is colluding with Crossrail hole attacks on the East End
The word ‘overreaching’ should be substituted with ‘overarching’ when reading the post on Indymedia by-lined to Muhammad Haque and dated 12 September 2007
[To be continued]

The Khoodeelaar! Campaign in defence of the East End of London and against the Crossrail hole attacks on the area has not been confined to just talking about the specific roles played by the formally identified promoters of the Crossrail hole Bill [the ‘hybrid’ ‘Crossrail Bill’ in the UK House of Commons]. It has entailed the studying and the monitoring of the widest possible range of behaviour and decision-making by the controlling clique on the ‘locally elected’ Tower Hamlets Council. Only by doing this as the Khoodeelaar! Movement established the evidence of the wide spread of corruption, and betrayal of the local community that has been being carried out by the controlling clique on the Council. That Council’s collusion with the CrossRail hole attacks plan is in keeping with the Council’s collusion with all the external agencies and interests that are orchestrated against the ordinary people in the East End. These ordinary people are not being represented effectively by the controlling clique. The controlling clique is letting the people of the East End down. CROSSRAIL London is a spin-rail project. It is not a transport plan. It is a propaganda plan being abused and misused by self-seekers to hold it up as a tool to deceive people at elections, London mayor election. It must be scrapped and a real transport plan put in its place. London deserves BETTER than a crassly conceived mess of a package that is deadlocked because it lacks merit… Crossrail is not the name of a picnic to be indulged in.. Transport needs of London and the transport needs of the other UK regions should be addressed with maturity, honesty and practicality. CrossRail is none of these things and needs replacing. NOW!.

1.      Crossrail Deadlock is not going to be over only because the Blaired party jamboree next week will be presented with a Livingstone-confected ‘triumph’ ‘package’. There is more incompatibility, more unaffordability in the ‘Crossrail Bi’ than mere question of how much Big Business is being asked to put into its contraption. The Crossrail conundrum will last forever. The only way to end it is to scrap the plan as it is and to start afresh. And the ‘freshness’ will only be substantiated if the transport needs of London and the transport needs of the rest of the UK are included in the thinking behind the next transport plan/s at in an integrated way and the economy of each of the regions is considered on the evidence of present performance and the future prospects. This has got to be done rationally, honestly and realistically. And by including the possibility of a much worse and much more serious collapse of capitalistic contraptions than has been witnessed in the collapse of the ‘Northern Rock’ and before that the ‘mortgages-linked financial unravelling of the USA capitalistic market contraptions. The existing London transport infrastructure is in need of serious and comprehensive overhaul. Mature, intelligent and honestly devised and implemented overhaul. As opposed to spin and propaganda-generating overhaul. This is also an opportunity to make it environmentally sound and sustainable. That is more important than the slogan-linked, flag-waving, mayoral-election-linked or a ‘snap-election-linked’ capacity of a stunt rail. Crossrail has become a Stunt-rail, a spin-rail project. Scrap it, make the project real by drafting a real plan by scrapping the current Bill and plan – [To be continued]

4.     Who shouted ‘Shame, Shame’ to opposition councillor Lutfa Begum when she was speaking at the ‘full Council’ meeting against Crossrail hole attacks on the East End in general and on the Brick Lane London E1 area in particular?

1.      KHOODEELAAR! TOLD YOU SO! [1]

The London Financial Times is a lying paper too. Notwithstanding the image it is lent by the BBC peddling the British press to the rest of the world, the UK financial daily, sometimes also referred to as the pink paper is as ignorant and as dishonest as the Guardian. Today the Financial Times says that CrossRail is a £10 billion project. And the Guardian’s ever-unreliable ‘journalism’ ‘reports’, also today [Friday 21 September 2007] that Crossrail is a £16 Billion project! This is the real gap. The real funding gap. The gap of integrity. The gap of absence of any accuracy. And so it has been,. Throughout the past five years of feverish lobbying for CRASSrail, these over-hyped ‘quality British’ newspapers have perpetrated lies after packs of lies in peddling the Big Business CrossRail project. And they are doing it even on the day when they are allegedly reporting what the current UK transport minister, Ruth Kelly, said at a pro-CRASSrail private meeting on Thursday [20 September 2007] she wanted [Big] Business to do about funding the CRASSrail plot…. And all the peddlers give yet another mention to Michael SNIDE Snyder from the strange policy outfit at the City of London Corruption [oops! ‘Corporation’]. Even the snide one is alleged to have been traumatised[!!!!!!] by the alleged absence of a figure that Ruth Kelly said Big Business should put into the construction of the CRASSrail! That allusion to Snyder’s ‘distress’ is a fakery. The Snide one has been one of the Crossrail’s most noisy trumpeters. Along with Jo ‘Boringness’ Valentine of “London Farts [!!!] . Between the two of them they have grabbed the maximum space whenever the ‘London needs Crossrail’ slogan has been mouthed, repeated and retailed in the ‘mainstream’ media generally and the EVENING STANDARD, the unprincipled, unethical, corrupting ‘local paper’ in the name of London. in particular. These two [Snyder and Valentine] have peddled the highest number of CRASSrail lies as a pair only after the chief tout for CRASSrail, ‘Undone mayor’ Ken Livingstone. They have confected, they have lied, they have fabricated the figures and they have said that the cost was now around £10 Billion…
So it is another item of evidence of their dishonesty and immorality to note that BOTH Jo Valentine and Michael Snyder are reported today [Friday 21 September 2007] to be uncertain about the sum that Gordon Brown is demanding the Big Business put into the CRASSrail! How very incredible! Only yesterday, the CRASSrail pack let loose by Big Business to soften the public so the big loot could be staged at the expense of the
UK public was braying that there was no problem at al. In fact, the fanatical EVENING STANDARD a few days ago reported the chief Crossrail hole plotter Ken Livingstone as saying that all was wonderful at the then latest meeting he had with Ruth Kelly et al about Crossrail!
In less than a week after that boast, the touts are sounding stinkingly sour! Why? Because they do not want to put the their money where their greedy plans are!
This will be their pattern throughout the remainder of the mess that is Crossrail
They will say and do exactly the same about destabilising, socially excusing, devastating and environmentally ruining and then taking over vital parts of the East End of London under cover of Crossrail.
[To be continued]

2.     KHOODEELAAR! Told you so! [2]

3.     The BBC has been caught lying again. And even the Daily Mail is at it. Again! Never had the Daily Mail been able to admit to media lies like it does so freely on its front page today [Friday 21 September 2007] “Blue Peter editor sacked and TV bosses forced to say sorry again. NEW LIES FIASCO SHAMES THE BBC’ in a piece by-lined to the Daily Mail’s ‘TV correspondent’ [Paul Revoir’] – What a double, treble, terrible media whammy! They all tell lies. By fakery. Fabrication. Distortion. By invention. By fantasy and by suppression. Just as they had been utterly lying FOR Big Business Crossrail, until just a few weeks ago. They only relented a bit when they saw that Gordon Brown could not afford to let Livingstone deliver his election propaganda stunt to suit Big business… But even so, they are prevaricating. As does the Guardian outlet today. We shall discuss the Guardian’s lying tactics in a later edition during Friday 21 September 2007

4.     On to other UK titles [news publications] and their tactics of lies and lying for Crossrail.

This morning, some of the UK’s most fanatical perpetrators of the Crossrail plot propaganda – who have never admitted the plot to be one devised to enable Big Business to rob and loot the public purse, have been slowly but surely admitting that it has been. Their admission is not spontaneous. Bit forced. Forced by the financial crisis that Big Business keeps causing by greed.
As we have been saying for 44 months, CrossRail is a Big Business, and a City of
London project. It is NOT a public transport system like any ordinary ones. It is about linking Big Business points together. And on the way, as a justifier for looting the public purse, they have added some decorations so that they can make their looting plan look plausible as another ‘public transport’ project. This is why even Rod Eddington [who HAD to admit the evidence and give up his affiliations with Big Business doing his ‘study’ on the UK Transport after being commissioned by then UK Finance Minister Gordon Brown to do so, did NOT endorse Crossrail.
Eddington could NOT endorse Crossrail. The evidence did not warrant it. That is why the Crossrail hole plot-backing Guardian condemned Eddington on the day that his report was due to be published. That is why the Crossrail hole-plot-backer BBC liar [operating via ‘BBC London’ and posing as the ‘transport’ reporter] Andrew Whine Stone Lie said on the day of the publication of the Eddington report that Eddington HAD endorsed Crassrail. This was a crafty conniving lie. This was based on a leading question that Andrew Whine Stone Lie put to Eddington at the launch press conference and it has NOT been repeated since. [More on Andrew Whine Stone Lie’s suppression of the truth and his internal battles within the BBC to deny the existence of the Khoodeelaar! Campaign against Crossrail, – to be examined and reported on a later occasion here and on our allied AADHIKARonline and Khoodeelaar! web sites and pages]

5.     AADHIKARonline quoting from the London Financial Times
Friday 21 September 2007CITY CHALLENGED TO BRIDGE FUNDING GAP FOR CROSSRAILTransport secretary Ruth Kelly said on Thursday that ministers expect to see “very substantial contributions” from City businesses towards the cost of building Crossrail, which would link Canary Wharf and Heathrow.
Speaking in an interview with the Evening Standard, Kelly said: “We are expecting some clear beneficiaries of the project to contribute. I want the private sector to turn its words into real contributions.”
The City’s policy and resources committee chairman, Michael Snyder, said that it would prove difficult to solve the problem without knowing how much extra funding was required, adding, however, that:
“Even on this impossibly tight time scale, we will do all we can.”

7.     The London EVENING STANDARD today exposes itself as a very idiotic and transparently stupid publication.
In its main ‘editorial comment’, the Idiotic Standard says that Ruth Kelly is being too demanding of Big Business over Crossrail! What a state of affairs over CRASSrail! CRASSRAIL indeed! Ruth Kelly has this one unique chance to show she has integrity, ethics and courage: SCRAP Crossrail and blame Big business for openly plotting to loot the
UK treasury under covers of Crossrail! – Extracts [20 September 2007] from the Muhammad Haque daily political commentary, forthcoming, hereView the Muhammad Haque daily commentary [first of a series on this aspect] about the EVENING STANDARD crass role for CRASSrail and what UK Transport Minster Ruth Kelly should do if she is to establish herself as a person of integrity and honesty

8.      FOR 44 months, almost four years, Khoodeelaar! has argued that Crossrail was flawed, defective. For as long, Ken Livingstone has claimed that Crossrail was perfect. In that tie, Khoodeelaar! has showed the key faults in the project in the context of the Lon don transport needs. One such has been the comparative economic role of Crossrail in relation to the existing transport infrastructure. We have said that the existing infrastructure deserves priority treatment when the use of public money was involved. We said that the existing underground and allied railway networks that needed maintenance and improvement would far better address the transport needs than any Crossrail line would. For years, we have been met with silence from the Crossrail pluggers. We have shown also that the Heathrow-link of CrossRail has been a serious piece of contradiction and we have detailed the extent of that contradiction. Nobody else has said that…Now, only days before the Lyingstill Livingstone is set to stage another of his lying publicity freak shows [just as he was party to doing from Singapore when the corruptly procured Olympics 2012 bid was ‘successfully’ promoted by Livingstone featuring himself as the main achiever….] at the Blaired Party jamboree 2007 [that is what it has been for years now, the event that had almost merited being called the ‘Labour Party annual conference. Centuries ago!!!!!], there are signs that even within the Big Business ‘sector’ serious doubts have existed about Livingstone’s grasp of the issues and his failure to tell the truth about his failing grip on things < wrong! 9.      The Muhammad Haque daily economic and ethical commentary
1155 Hrs GMT London Thursday 20 September 2007
What is wrong with Susan Kramer? In addition to her being immersed in a state of liberal confusion about society and where things need to be changed, that is? Susan Kramer became additionally confused when she was in the proximity of the spin of the liar of London. Hence her inability to see all of London . She mistakes London and substitutes the package of lies spun by Livingstone as London. She hears no reason. She finds no reason. She cannot appreciate any reason if it comes from any source other than the Lyingstill Livingstone. Hence her failure to see that Crossrail is CRASS. That it is Not the answer to the pressing transport problems of London. And the other thing that is wrong with Susan Kramer is that contradictory to her pretensions, she is ignorant about macro economics. She has effectively bought the liar’s slogan that London funds the rest of the UK economy! That gigantic lie will cost the people unless Gordon Brown exposes it for the mega ‘Londonist’ lie that it is. There is a word. Londonist. It is intended in my use here to be a negative term to denote those who lie and exaggerate the importance of London at the expose of people in other parts of the UK. Gordon Brown is now preparing his keynote party speech package. And I would suggest that he comprehensively repudiates those who say that London finance is keeping the rest of the UK. And the same goes for Alistair Darling. And a footnote. Darling has the duty to renounce his Crossrail Bill and to say that he got that wrong.[To be continued]

Muhammad Haque daily world linguistic commentary
1625 Hrs GMT London Tuesday 18 September 2007

When I said ‘Get Cross with Crossrail’ at the end of one of the very first meetings of the movement that soon afterwards became known as Khoodeelaar! even I didn’t think that my phraseology would get such wider currency. As has happened quite a few times in the past 18 months with external publishers and commentators appearing with their views on the project under the headline ‘Cross with CrossRail’. This has happened once again, today [Tuesday 18 September 2007]. My first campaign poem was published on the internet on 31 January 2004 under the heading, “Getting Cross with Crossrail’.It has taken almost 4 years for the ‘mainstream’ ‘transport economics’ commentators to catch up! But to find that the Manchester Evening News, the Mancunian mainstay of the Crossrail-hole-plot-backing Guardian is the one that has used my phrase albeit with a question mark, completes the journey as far as the linguistic puzzle that had persisted up to now as proffered by the pluggers of the flawed project. My commentary today deals in this part with the general trend noticeable now among the pluggers of confessing that the Crossrail scheme is CRASS. After all….

The Khoodeelaar! Question as put to ‘full council’ meeting of Tower Hamlets Council on Tuesday 11 September 2007 was to know why that Council had not passed the unequivocal motion saying a CLEAR No to the Crossrail hole attacks on the East End.
The answer, which the controlling pro-CrossRail hole bureaucracy of the Tower Hamlets Council gave in its written statement of reply to the Khoodeelaar! question, confirmed all the bad things that the Council clique had been doing against the people of the
East End. We examine that reply and also examine the full Council meeting in the context of the Khoodeelaar! Campaign against Crossrail throughout this week. Khoodeelaar! On the Record warning Gordon Brown against the Crossrail hole scheme waste of public money and of resources.

Gordon Brown is being misled by Ken Livingstone into making a serious financial error. Today the Murdoch-owned London Sunday Times announces the ‘news’ that Gordon Brown is set to give the CRASSrail the go-ahead. What this means is that Brown is committing huge sums of money from the public purse to back the Big Business Crossrail hole plot.
This is a plot that has been touted for Big Business by the ‘Undone mayor’ Ken Lyingstill Livingstone. We have repeatedly warned Brown against Crossrail hole commitment. The decision Brown has evidently taken to back CrossRail is not economically sustainable. It is a political decision which will come back to haunt Gordon Brown. Ken Livingstone may not be even mayor to be haunted by it. The present CrossRail scheme will lumber passengers and the public with debts and liabilities that are not justified. Livingstone is making an increasingly desperate bid to use Gordon Brown’s apparent agreement to make this huge sum of public money available for the present CRASSrail hole line as his [Livingstone] next election propaganda to get elected [for the third time in a row since the wasteful post of mayor for London was created by Blair] to claim that he did this ‘for transport in London’. This claim by Livingstone has been a lie and is a lie.
As even the Sunday Times and the Times have now acknowledged. Albeit belatedly. Crossrail is flawed seriously in a way that will not deliver the transport ‘solutions’ that its touts have been promising. It will also take vital public money away from being put into improving the far bigger and the existing
London underground and related railway network.
Khoodeelaar! has been saying this for 44 months now. What we have been saying has only just now begun to be acknowledged.
In bits.
The start has been made belated in the Times newspaper group. We recognise this late acknowledgement and recognition. And we are now going to publish a the other flaws of CrossRail that the Times newspaper group has not yet acknowledged. Or seen. Or noticed. We shall also at the same time, detail the attacks that we have been focussing on for the past 44 months as far as the CrossRail Holes in the East End of London have been concerned.
And in this series, we shall be updating our comments, our analyses and our findings of the past 44 months.

11.  The fanatically misleading London evening paper the EVENING [no standards of ethics or morality ]STANDARD has been lying for years for Crossrail. The number of Crossrail-peddling lying plugs the EVENING STANDARD has pushed, can be compared only with the matching lies uttered by the Crossrail hole plotter tout Ken Livingstone. So, as we pointed out yesterday, Lyngstill’s promotion of CRASS rail has not been received with welcome in the mainstream media.
Indeed, there has been no report, as far as we could find, recording the boasts made by Lyingstill Livingstone and sneaked out via the BBC by Andrew Whine-Stone-Liar m of Livingstone’s boastful, conspiratorially packaged and delivered claims, made at the perennially embarrassing waster of London people’s money the Greater London Assembly earlier this week. What has happened, as we accurately observed ion Thursday [
13 September 2007] is that the truth of the CRASS Rail’s fundamental flaws had hit even Gordon Brown’s camp. Notwithstanding Brown’s apparent readiness to accept the embrace by the snaring Ken Livingstone, there has been real pressure from the ongoing financial ‘market’ collapse and so there is serious hesitation in the formally installed office of the Finance Minister of UK, Alistair Darling.
[More about HIS role in this CRASSrail, at another time, here]
Just as the Times today confessed that Crossrail is not quite the solution to the transport needs of London that the CRASSrail pluggers have been peddling it to be
As if that were not bad enough for the liar and the corrupter of London, the forever Crossrail-promoting EVENING STANDARD has devoted its main first editions Editorial to a retreat on the CRASSrail hole plot. They say, amongst other things, that ”even as hopes are raised for Crossrail, it has been intimated that this would be at the expense of further support for the modernization of the Tube network. This is absurd: both are necessary”.
Then the idiotic EVENING STANDARD goes on to repeat some of the familiar lies for CrossRail that it had published over the previous years.
The idiots who have been confecting most of the CRASSrail – plugging pieces as carried THE EVENING STANDARD are ignorant of the fact that people in the
East End can see the idiocy. This is why there were more people taking active part in the latest Khoodeelaar! Demonstration against the CRASSrail hole-inviting Tower Hamlets Council on Tuesday [11 September 2007] than would have been the case if any of the demonstrating residents and tenants in or at the properties and streets affected by the CRASSrail hole plot thought that the line was needed by the people in the East End.[To be continued]

12. One of the original findings of the exclusive investigation into the conduct – or, more accurately, the Misconduct of the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council has been the fact that it is a very low calibre outfit. That the Council is not being ‘led’ by intelligence. In the sense of the word ‘intelligence’ meaning the high standard of ability of thought and consideration. What we have been encountering in the behaviour – misbehaviour – of the clique is that it is devoid also of that level of common sense which ought to be there if the powers available to a locally ‘elected’ council are to be exercised to the good of the local people. What we have uncovered and exposed over the Crossrail hole-inviting role of that clique is crassness, a stupidity that would not be tolerated if there were accountability, if there were scrutiny. As there is neither scrutiny nor accountability, the corrupt clique is getting away with the letting down of the people in the Borough. No, letting down is not the word,. Betrayal is a more appropriate word. But even that one is not enough. The corrupt clique that has been in control f the Tower Hamlets Council is likely to be found on an independent examination of the evidence of its misconduct, to have been part of an external attack operation against the East End. As we have been calling them a tout Council, the evidence of their misconduct will vindicate that tag and that analysis.
[To be continued]
What is more, the persistent absence of a thinking and moray sound and combined ‘opposition’ is not helping the cause of the people in the Borough. [To be continued]

13. Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole plot-inviting Tower Hamlets Council – AADHIKAR online is continuing the reports on the admission by the Council that it had been LYING all along about the role it had been paying to bring into the East End the Crossrail hole attacks.
AADHIKARonline has already published the quotation from the Crossrail hole-inviting clique on Tower Hamlets Council saying that “Ultimately, the Council must respect Crossrail’s overarching duty to have regard to the paramount importance of the health and safety of Crossrail passengers and workers which will dictate the location of such shafts”

14. CRASSRAIL exposed again!
Even as the increasingly economically misdirected agenda of the one-time ‘prudent’ Gordon Brown slides down to reach the abyss of embarrassment by Gordon Brown’s embrace of the sinister ploys of the ego-centric Ken Livingstone who has been the main tout for Big Business Crossrail hole plot, the pitfalls and the wastefulness of CrossRail are being acknowledged by some of the most unlikely of quarters and sources – including, in a bizarrely twisted way, by some within Livingstone’s own empire for abuse of transport in the name of the people of London , Transport for London!. The Khoodeelaar! Movement has been monitoring and auditing these events. So that there is no claim after the disaster hits everyone, that ‘we were not warned’. So here is another timely and exclusive contribution by the Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole plot campaign.
Even The
London Times [owned by Rupert Murdoch] has been confronted with irresistible evidence, which they have to recognise, confirming what Khoodeelaar! Analyses of Crossrail have consistently shown. In the latest report published by the Times today [Friday 14 September 2007] they have outlined some of the very things that the Khoodeelaar! Campaign against the Crossrail hole project has found in the very detailed analysis of the other studies on the subject, including the ‘Eddington Transport study – the case for action’. In a comment to the Times web site, Khoodeelaar! No to CrossRail hole Bill campaign organiser Muhammad Haque has said this morning that the Time’s “identification of the problems that Crossrail will cause represents a broader view of the problems than the promoters of the current plan will claim. It is time to go back to the drawing boards and come up with the plan that will be economically and environmentally sustainable. A great deal of public money has already been wasted in the bureaucracy of the Crossrail Company. They have not produced the optimum solution to the transport needs of London. The reason why they have not done so includes the sabotage of the parliamentary scrutiny of the Crossrail Bill. In terms of the devastating effects the Crossrail hole plan will cause to the East End of London, the social deficits will far outweigh any promised economic benefits for these parts. With the world of finance behaving in the unpredictable way that it is bound to do, the promoters’ big claim for Crossrail being vital to make London a world class financial centre will most likely be another wasteful and diversionary exaggeration. Scrap the Crossrail Bill now. Use sustainable economic solution to the transport needs of London.”View the Times piece HERE:”£16bn Crossrail go-ahead threatens to shunt Tube upgrade into sidings”

15. AADHIKARonline quoting [Friday 14 September 2007] from METRONET the London business competition-spoiler ‘free sheet’ published by the Daily Mail group to protect the EVENING STANDARD from competition, retailing [Thursday 13 September 2007] another ‘race row’ story about the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council. This item has also been picked up by some of the most persistently racist outfits operating in the UK. Those outfits are promoting the alleged behaviour of the controlling clique as evidence that Tower Hamlets Council is undermining one particular racial or ethnic group in the borough’s population. Namely white people. AADHIKARonline has been investigating this particular propensity for the past week and will be publishing the first of the series of reports starting this afternoon [Friday 14 September 2007]Anger at council snub over colourThursday, September 13, 2007
Two white councillors have hit out after being excluded from a meeting because of their colour.
Peter Golds and Stephanie Eaton said they were outraged at not being asked to take part in the focus group at Tower Hamlets council in
East London.
The gathering was organised to come up with ideas for improving career opportunities for Bangladeshi and ethnic minority workers at the council.
Mr Golds, who leads the Conservatives on the council, has taken the matter to the Commission for Racial Equality. Ms Eaton, who heads the Liberal Democrat group, made a sarcastic apology after the snub.
Deputy Labour leader Siraj Islam, who organised the gathering, told a council meeting this week: ‘Without wishing to be patronising, we felt it should be “Bangladeshi only” because we have the expertise on these matters and we talk to staff in the corridors about concerns.’
Ms Eaton replied: ‘Well, I’m sorry for being white and there’s nothing I can do about that.’ She added: ‘Am I irrelevant because I’m white? I do actually talk to Bangladeshis a lot and think I would have had something to contribute.’
After the cabinet meeting, Mr Golds wrote to council chief executive Martin Smith saying he was ‘disturbed’ by the exclusion.
He has also contacted the commission, asking it whether the move was a breach of equality policies.
Tower Hamlets Council said other sessions would be organised so that all councillors were involved.

AADHIKARonline unquoting [Friday 14 September 2007] from METRONET the London business competition-spoiler ‘free sheet’ published by the Daily Mail group to protect the EVENING STANDARD from competition, retailing [Thursday 13 September 2007] another ‘race row’ story about the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council

16. Ken Crossrail hole plot-backer Livingstone has boasted that he has got Gordon Brown to give in. Lyingstill has been letting on that Brown has no alternative but to commit public funds to the ‘building’ of CRASSrail. Lyingstill has been boasting of his alleged victory in getting Ruth Kelly, the present holder of the post of Secretary of State [Transport Minster] ‘for’ Transport in the Gordon Brown administration. So, with both Gordon Brown and Ruth Kelly already Konned by Ken the CrossRail hole plotter into ‘recognising the vital importance of Crossrail’, what is the hush? Why isn’t the liar Ken spelling out what the deal is? What is holding him back? This must be because the liar Ken is at it again.
That is, he is lying again. As has the BBC’s resident liar for Big Business Andrew Whine-Stone-Lie been
Both have made typically sneaky suggestions that Brown has agreed that the Govt will in the main provide the funding for the construction of the CRASSLY conceived Crossrail.
And BOTH the liars have perpetrated their particular assertions in public.
Yet NEITHER latest lying plug has been picked up by any other mainstream’ media outlet in the
UK, as far as we can find in our researches done over the past week.
This raises the question:
Why? The first answer is that nobody at the
UK Treasury has been prepared to confirm what Lyingstill Livingstone and Whine-Stone-Lie have put about. Even Ruth Kelly, – sacked from her previous jobs under Blair due to widespread disquiet at her lack of grip on the subject that her post was supposedly responsible for – has not become available to back up what the Lyingstill and the Whine-stone-Lie have claimed.
The other part of the answer must be something to do with the fact that there is no evidence at all that the commitment of so much public money to CRASSrail in London is going to produce the returns that could remotely justify the damage that will be caused to the economy by the pluggers of Crossrail..
That is why the sneaky, hush-hush manner and atmosphere by the liars.. These two are touting for Big Business. But Big Business is not well. It is again sick, after being exposed once again as having been involved in the theft and looting on a huge scale around the USA-located mortgage scandal. Which is having significant repercussions on the rest of the fiscal policy decision-makers across the Big Business –dominated parts of the world. Just as the continuing imperialistic robberies in the name of ‘wars’ [theft of oil and other natural resources from
Asia on the grandest scale at the moment] ….
[To be continued]

17.
What ‘mainstream’ media outlet in the
UK has published the most ‘articles’ promoting Crossrail hole plot? The answer is of course the London EVENING Standard. Why? There is no reason that the paper has published except that it is part of what the Big Business wants. And the Evening standardsless Standard is the one that has symbolically gone silent on key occasions as well. When reason, logic and ethics would warrant a treatment by the ‘EVENING STANDARD’ of the key aspects of the transport needs of London, it has been silent on those occasions.

Khoodeelaar! No to Tower Hamlets Council corruptly publishing claims about its role on Crossrail – the next part of the Khoodeelaar! reports on the ‘full Council’ meeting held on Tuesday 11 September 2007

18. Does the ‘East London Idiotiser’ have an agenda to replace the corrupt clique on the Tower Hamlets Council? We have no written statement saying that this is the case. But we do have written proof that shows that the East London ‘Idiotiser’ is being published in a way that a fully fledged racist title would behave. We are starting this particular examination by looking at this week’s front page item alleging that Tower Hamlets Council` has had a ‘race row’. More soon. In fact much of the racist ‘contents’ the East London Idiotiser carries gets repeated by officially racist parties, outlets and operatives soon afterwards.
We start examining the behaviour of the East London Idiotiser, later on today Thursday 13 September 2007 As a contextual intro, we are looking at the contents of the ‘East London Idiotiser’ , as published today, Thursday 13 September 2007

19. We have been describing the ‘East London Advertiser’ as the ‘East London Idiotiser’ for very good reasons and on impeccable evidence. We had assumed that the Idiotiser/s behind the scenes and operating the same Idiotising scheme that has produced the idiotic headline and the even more idiotic contents in it [‘Race Row’ front page lead in the ‘East London Idiotiser, Thursday 13 September 2007] the ‘Idiotiser, would have leant to tell the truth by now…’ But we have found no evidence of the Idiotiser learning to tell the truth, especially where the conduct of the ‘local’ ‘Tower Hamlets Council’ is concerned. But the evidence shows that far from learning to tell the truth, the Idiotiser is bent on telling lies., Especially to tell racist lies that keep the pronounce in the Borough of the significant population with such a wide range of backgrounds of cultures.

Reports on the Khoodeelaar! Day of Action against Crossrail holes-attacks-inviter Tower Hamlets Council

This is the fourth AADHIKARonline original report so far today [Wednesday 12 September 2007] on yesterday’s Khoodeelaar! Campaign actions around Tower Hamlets Council’s role in inviting the Crossrail hole attacks against the East End of London

Crossrail attacks on East End – community betrayed by Tower Hamlets Council

AADHIKARonline 1625 GMT London as published on the UK Indymedia on Wednesday 12.
09.
2007 The Khoodeelaar! movement against Crossrail attacks on the East End created a new precedent in exposing the local Tower Hamlets Council during ‘full council’ held ion Tuesday 11 September 2007 at the ‘town hall’ sited AWAY from most ordinary people in the Borough.
The contents of what took place have far reaching implications for local people’s rights and by logical extension for the democratic rights of all in society.
What was witnessed in the behaviour of the controlling clique of Blaring time serving careerists should give pause for a thought even to those who are too eager to back any slogan that involves increasing the monetary and career gains of those bent on grabbing positions and opportunities as local councillors.

Should Tower Hamlets Councillors be allowed to act as the social uprooters of the people that make up the borough’s
ordinary population today?

How did you think the controlling clique reacted .
We refer here to the distortion of the facts – as was the contents of Joshua Peck who twisted what Abjol Miah had said .
We refer here to Cllr Turner who misinterpreted what the movers of the main motion against Crossrail had said in their speeches .
We refer to a certain other Crossrail hole plot-backer who again lied on the floor of the Council chamber when he denied that there was opposition to Crossrail hole plot in the Bow East ward.
.
We refer to Abdal Ullah who repeatedly shouted ‘Shame, Shame’ to Cllr Lutfa Begum as she was speaking. She had asked why the
Brick Lane area had been targeted for the Crossrail hole attacks. .
We refer to Abdal Ullah who taunted Cllr Lutfa Begum by asking ‘which community’ after she had clearly stated ‘the Bangladeshis’ in relation the targets of the Crossrail attacks .
We refer to the factual contents of the original reports created by Khoodeelaar! and made available to Tower Hamlets councillors and to the council at no charge at all.
We make this point about costs to emphasize the fact that Tower Hamlets Council controlling clique has admitted to spending nearly £1million on diverting the campaign attention way from the Council’s touting for Crossrail .
we refer to the facts of the presentation of the Question by Khoodeelaar! Organiser Muhammad Haque and the very serious points made about the constitution of the UK and about the obligations of the Council to abide by the UK’s treaty obligations in the context of Europe, about the Council’s failure to represent the community in the borough and the failure and or the refusal of the controlling clique to even begin to address the contents of the rest of his questions to be addressed by the controlling group.
.
We refer to the intended and the pathetically persistently ignorant and insulting and off the topic remark by Rupert Baden .
We refer to the untruthful assertion as made by Simon Rouse about Crossrail having been discussed [or ‘debated’] in the Council “

29.Khoodeelaar! campaign action history – Note on the latest fabrication about the ‘Bethnal Green and Bow ‘constituency as peddled by the poisonously lying Mail on Sunday for a second weekend, around the allegedly political past of “Oona…”- [2]
How strange that the Khoodeelaar! movement is in receipt of a hint or two today [Sunday 9 September 2007] that Tony McNulty, the husband of the Crossrail hole plot-inviting Tower Hamlets Council’s former ‘chief executive’ Christine Gilbert and himself accused of having played a key role in the drafting of a dastardly component of what is known as the ‘Hybrid’ ‘Crossrail Bill’ [now in the UK House of Commons], has probably got one thing right! As retailed in the ‘Mail on Sunday’, McNulty allegedly called Oona ‘stupid’! And in front of 100 ‘other’ ‘MPs’. The alleged confirmation by McNulty of what had been well known in the Bethnal Green and Bow Constituency took place, as is claimed in the ‘Mail on Sunday’ on
25 October 2004. The Khoodeelaar! campaign archives show that that was 3 days after the first Khoodeelaar! demonstration, held in the Greatorex Street, London E1, against the Crossrail hole-inviting role played by ‘the holder of the post at the time, of being the leader’ of Tower Hamlets Council, one Abbas Uddin ‘Helal’. Our demonstration took place on Friday 22 October 2004.
And our key demand was that Tower Hamlets Council was that the Tower Hamlets Council disassociate itself with the Crossrail promoters and that it only acts as the local council that it is and ceases all communications with al the elements and forces that are promoting the Crossrail hole plotThat Khoodeelaar! demonstration actually was forced on the campaign by the STUPIDITY of the controlling clique on Tower Hamlets Council. The clique had been given a way out of the mess that it had created over its touting for Crossrail.
We had asked the ‘leading’ members of the clique, at and after the ‘cabinet’ meeting of the Tower Hamlets council that had been held during the first half of October 2004, to drop the Council’s collusion and to join the community campaign against CrossRail. But as they were STUPID, they ignored our advice given in good faith.
The result was that the community’s need to stop the Crossrail hole attack had to be raised to whatever political level possible. We made our intentions plain.
But Oona did not attend our demonstration.
And in the more than one year of the Khoodeelaar! Campaign against CrossRail hole attacks that she was [still an] MP [from
31 January 2004 to end of April 2005 when she was ousted by the voters in the constituency. She was kicked out by the community] . She did not make one communication to us saying anything about Crossrail.
Far less a single word AGAINST Crossrail. Then in one of the series of Khoodeelaar! Campaign meetings, we decided to ask her questions. Those were represented in our communication sent to her on
18 October 2004. She did not answer that one. Nor did she even acknowledge its receipt.
Given that Khoodeelaar! had drafted a series of forma demands as well as texts of for a petition, against Crossrail and given the fact that there was no other entity in the constituency of Bethnal Green and Bow that was doing what Khoodeelaar! Was doing, we found it very significant that as we were stepping up the campaign against Crossrail, a strangely similarly worded petition appeared with the name of Oona ….But that petition was another instance of pro-Crossrail fabrication. It was NOT against CrossRail. It was FOR Crossrail. And it was craftily contrived by some dishonest aider and abetter of Oona who stole from the Khoodeelaar! Drafts, used some of our phrases but ended up backing the Crossrail assault……..
Who is Oona trying to kid about her alleged advocacy for the community against Crossrail?

[To be continued]

This demand continues to be our demand to the ‘local’ Tower Hamlets Council on Crossrail [and will be reiterated at the demonstration by Khoodeelaar! outside the Tower Hamlets Council at 6.30 PM on Tuesday 11 September 2007]
